Vi abbiamo abituato a consultare le charts mensilmente ma, causa 3 settimane di chiusura per ferie lo scorso mese, questa volta vi proponiamo una selezione che raggruppa le migliori uscite (secondo noi) di Agosto e Settembre. Grande merito alla Drumcode, premiata con la prima posizione, per aver rilasciato una mina dello statunitense Dustin Zahn… la scelta è caduta su ‘Brute Force’ ma vi assicuro che tutte le tracce contenute nell’ep sono formidabili! Non potevamo non elencare una super hit che Richie Hawtin (chi è stato al Time Warp?) e altri big suonano già da Aprile: si tratta di ‘Going Straight To Caracas’ del nostro Ilario Alicante e del venezuelano Sergio Munoz, aka Delete. Da segnalare inoltre lo straordinario remix del solito Radio Slave e la dose di sound sudamericano dell’etichetta argentina Unlock Recordings, giunta alla release numero 13.
Chart Luglio 2008
Questo mese inauguriamo il nuovo format della sezione Charts. Come potete vedere abbiamo deciso di puntare su una nostra selezione mensile di 30 tracce anzichè elencare le classifiche di djs noti ed emergenti come fatto fino al mese scorso. D’ora in poi vi proporremo i dischi che meglio riflettono i nostri gusti e che seguono la linea musicale finora tracciata sul sito. Luglio 2008 per noi vede protagonista un Butch in grande spolvero e un paio di ottime uscite per Herzblut e SCI + TEC Digital Audio, labels che occupano con le loro release le prime 2 posizioni, oltre alle solite Cocoon, Trapez e BPitch Control.
